Greg Johns is an award-winning sculptor with an international reputation. Working in corten steel, wood and stone, his large sculptures have a majestic quality that evoke the spirit of the land.

He has worked as a full-time sculptor for 42 years, exhibiting in major solo and group exhibitions throughout Australia and in New York, England, Singapore, New Zealand, the Middle East, Japan, China and Denmark. Major commissions have been completed throughout Australia and in England, Korea, Singapore, New Zealand and Spain. In 2012 he was awarded the McClelland Gallery Sculpture Award – the most recognised/respected award in Australia for sculpture. In 2001 he acquired a 403 acre property at Palmer which has been under re-vegetation for 17 years and has 45 of his sculptures placed there in a symbiotic relationship with the Australian landscape. In 2017 he was recognised as a South Australian Design Icon by the Design Council of Australia. He is considered by leading academic writers on sculpture in Australia to be in our top 5 living sculptors. Sculpture has recently been accepted into the National Gallery of Australia collection and a private collection in Zurich.
